He now advocates for universal healthcare and is the leader of two reform advocacy nonprofits: the Center for Health and Democracy and Business Leaders for Health Care Transformation. He is also a New York Times best-selling author and his most recent book is For Want of a Dentist: The Rise of the Dental Therapy Movement in Tribal Nations and the US.
